Itinerary
On arrival at Hyderabad- The city of Pearls, check-in at a hotel and have rest for sometime. Later proceed for half day city tour of Hyderabad. Visit Golkonda- an impressive and amazing fort in Southern India and one of the popular historical places. It was the capital of the medieval sultanate of the Qutub Dynasty. Later visit Charminar- one of the iconic mosque with 4 minarets and arches located in the old city. Then, visit Mecca Mosque- one of the largest mosques in India to accomodate thousands of devotees at a time. Later, return to the hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast, proceed to visit Qutub Shahi Tombs set up in different styles that depict Hindu, Persian and Pathan forms. It also represents the architecture and tradition of Qutub Shahi Dynasty. Then, visit Birla Temple- dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This temple represents three different architectures- South India, Rajasthan and Utkala. As the temple is located at an altitude of 280 Ft, it shows an amazing view of the city. Later, visit Salarjung Museum- an abode of historic artifacts of the country. The collections include the wardrobe of Tipu Sultan, daggers of Shah Jahan, Noor Jahan and Emperor Jahangir. In the evening, visit Hussain Sagar Lake to rejoice the boat ride. Furthermore, it also gives peace and calm atmosphere. In the centre, stands a huge statue of Buddha standing on the 'Rock of Gibraltar'. Near this lake, is NTR garden where one can click pictures. Then, to witness a laser show, visit Lumbini Gardens. It makes a water screen when the water shots up in the sky hence making it one of the prime attractions. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed towards Warangal. On arrival at Warangal, check-in at a hotel and have rest for some time. Later visit Bhadrakali Temple- on the banks of River Godavari known for Goddess Kali. A huge lake is located next to this temple. Then, visit Warangal Fort- the oldest monument in Warangal that was ruled by Ashoka and Chalukya Dynasty. One can find old rocks and pillars in this fort. Later, visit Thousand Pillar Temple- located in the heart of the city dedicted to Lord Shiva. Visit Pakhal Wildlife Sanctuary and Pakhal Lake that is located in the same Sanctuary. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed towards Vijayawada. On arrival at Vijayawada, check in at a hotel and have rest for sometime. Then, stroll market in the evening. Return hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast, proceed to visit Kondapalli village. The inhabitants of this village are famous for making painted wooden toys that are made from Tella Poniki (a special type of wood) which is found only on the hills of this village. Then, visit Kanaka Durga Temple- an ancient temple- dedicated to Goddess Durga and located on the banks of the river Krishna. Visit Undavalli Caves to explore the ancient piece of architecture. Return to hotel at Vijayavada for overnight stay.
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed towards Kakinada. On the way visit a quaint French Church and then visit a Serene Cemetery. Later, in the evening, visit Draksharamam Temple- the temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Various inscriptions of Chola and Chalukyan dynasties are carved in this temple. On arrival at Kakinada, check-in at the hotel and if time permits, explore the market by walk else stay overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed towards Vishakhapatnam enroute Sankaram- an important tourist attraction for Buddhist devotees. At this place, you can view 2 spell bounding images and stupas of Lord Buddha. You may like to visit nearby rock-cut temples. Later, visit a beautiful temple on a hilltop- simhachalam Temple with 16 pillars. On arrival at vishakhapatnam, check-in at a hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing at Vishakhapatnam. Visit Kailasagiri Hill- where huge statues of Lord Shiva and Parvati are made from white marble. From the base of Lord Shiva's statue, is a stream that flows to the foot of the hill. A road leads to the top of the hill which shows a panoramic view of the Bay of Bengal. One of the other attractions of the place is The Floral Watch- that is a huge park that tourists like to visit. Then, visit Araku Valley- a beautiful valley with amazing gardens. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed towards Gopalpur. Halt at Arasavalli Temple- an ancient temple of Suryanarayana Swamy to rejoice the ancient architecture and beauty. On arrival at Gopalpur, check-in at a hotel and if time permits, explore the beach on foot. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and then proceed towards Puri. On arrival at Puri, check-in at a hotel and proceed for sightseeing at Puri. Visit the popular temple- Jagannath Temple, dedicated to Lord Jagannath. Visit Gundicha Mandir- known as the Garden House of Jagannath and the nearby village of artisans. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed towards Bhubaneshwar enroute visit Konark Sun Temple (Black Pagoda) that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site at Konark. Then, visit the Fisherman's village where you may like to see the daily chores of the inhabitants of the village. Later, proceed towards Bhubaneshwar. On arrival at Bhubaneshwar, check-in at a hotel and if time permits, you may like to spend teh day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing at Bhubaneshwar. Visit Nandankanan Zoological Park- an attractive tourist place as tigers are found here. Then, visit Lingaraja Temple- a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva (also called Harihara). Later in the evening visit Mukteswara Temple- a Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva where one can rejoice the art and sculpture. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed to Bhubaneshwar Airport or Railway Station to board a flight or train to your onwards journey with memories of Your Festigo Journey.
