Itinerary
Arrival at Udaipur Airport/ Railway Station and transfers to your hotel After some Rest, In the evening, explore the countryside on wheels, feet or horse and take a breathtaking boat ride over the lake (at your own cost) admiring the perfect sunset view. Overnight stay at Udaipur.
After breakfast, proceed for a city tour. Begin your tour with a visit to the City Palace. Once here, marvel the rooms with mirrored walls and ivory doors, windows with colored glasses, the beautiful marble balconies and the peacock courtyard. Then visit the lovely Sahelion-ki-Bari (Queen's resort for their friends) gardens, Jagdish Temple built by Maharana Jagat Singh and dedicated to Lord Vishnu & Gulab Bagh. Then visit Bhartiya Lok kala Museum - a museum of folk and art that displays a rich collection of folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks and dolls. Overnight stay at Udaipur.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer Udaipur to Jodhpur (259 kms/6 hrs) en route visiting Ranakpur. Visit the very popular Jain temple dedicated to Lord Adinatha. Its 29 halls are supported by 1444 pillars, none of which are alike. The temple abounds with intricate friezes and sculptures. You can also visit Sun temple just opposite. Later continue your drive to Jodhpur. Upon arrival check-in at your hotel. Founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha, Jodhpur was the capital of the state of Marwar during the rule of the Rathor clan. Set at the edge of Thar Desert, Jodhpur is strewn with forts and palaces that date as back as the 15th century, all vividly testifying to the history of the princely state. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Mount Abu. You would see loads of Rajasthani, Gujarati and foreign tourists here in the city, all to escape from the scorching heat of the state. Check in to your hotel and after some rest, proceed to spend the evening on a boat ride at Nakki lake- fringed with lovely trees and cool breeze. Explore the Mall road and later be back to hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast begin for city tour of Mt. Abu. Visit Jain temples at Dilwara, popular for its exemplary marble work. Prajapita Brahmakumari- from where they say the knowledge of Raja Yoga is disseminated. Adhar Devi Temple- dedicated to Goddess Durga, got its name because the legend has it that "Adhar" of the Goddess deity fell here. Achalgarh- its one of the many beautiful medieval monuments in Mount Abu thats surrounded by massive battlement walls and is situated at the top of a mountain peak and offers picturesque views all year round. Guru Shikhar-is the highest point in Rajasthan and is home to the temple of Dattatreya, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Honeymoon Point- is an attractive point for the visitors for it being in the natural creation in the shape of a man and a women, pretty attractive during sunset.Overnight stay at Mt. Abu.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfers to Railway Station/ bus stand for your onward journey with memories of Your Festigo Journey.
