Day

Arrival at the Coimbatore Airport / Railway Station and proceed towards Ooty- a very popular tourist spot among the hill stations that is also known as 'Scotland of Karnataka'. On arrival check-in at a hotel. Later proceed towards Deer Park- a park located on the edge of the Ooty Lake. Different species of Deer- Sambhar and the Chithal are found here. Apart from deer, the Deer Park is an abode of various varieties of birds, hares and rabbits. Later visit Ooty Lake- covers an area of 65 acres. It is the main tourist attraction for the visitors as 'The Boat House' situated next to the lake provides boating facilities to the tourists. Overnight stay at Ooty.

After breakfast, proceed to Coonoor is one of the popular hill stations of Nilgiris. Coonoor is also famous for tea gardens and tea factories. It is an ideal base for a number of trekking expeditions leading into the Nilgiris and also visit the Dolphin's nose point, 10 kms from Ooty, that not only provides a panoramic view of the vast expanse of the Nilgiri hills but also of the famous Catherine Falls. Proceed to Sim's Park that is very popular among tourists. A number of individual tree specimens planted in a scattered fashion all over the place, lend a special charm to the park, specially when they bloom in different seasons throughout the year. The key attraction of the park is the annual fruit and vegetable show held in May. Evening back to hotel. Overnight stay at Ooty.

After breakfast, proceed to visit Botanical Garden, that lies on the lower slopes of Doddabetta Peak and covers around 22 hectares of area. The garden is divided in to various sections and has a layout of terraced design. The Garden has thousands of Exotic and Indigenous tree species. Witness the various kinds of Flora and Fauna spread across the Garden. Later visit Doddabetta Peak- the highest mountain around the Nilgiri. One might love to see the reserved forest area around the peak. It has a road access to summit where one can have a mesmerizing view from the top. Overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Kodaikanal- a hill station located in forested valleys, lakes, grassy hills and waterfalls. Kodaikanal is a Tamil word that means Gift of Forest. Visit Sacred Heart Natural Science Museum, that has around 500 species of flora and fauna.Then visit Coakers walk- it offers amazing views of the plain. Then, visit The Lake- the focal point of the city where you may enjoy boating. In the evening visit Silver Cascade Falls where the overflow of the Kodai lake falls from a height of 180 ft. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

After breakfast at hotel, proceed to visit full day sightseeing Pillar Rocks, Bear Shola Falls, Berijam Lake, Green Valley view, Telescope House, Shenbaganur museum and Dolphins Nose. Evening back to hotel. Overnight stay at Kodaikanal.

After breakfast at hotel, check out form kodaikanal and proceed to Munnar. On the way visit Amaravathi Dam, Crocodile Sanctuary, Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary, Muniyara (Pandavas cave), Sandal wood forest, Lockcom waterfall, Eravikulam National park, (Rajamally) Anaimudi view, (south India highest peak- 8841 ft 2695 mts) and arrival at Munnar check in hotel overnight stay at hotel in Munnar.

After breakfast at hotel, you will proceed for full Day sightseeing across Munnar. Places & Activities of Interest – Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Kundala Dam, Indo Swiss Livestock Project, Mattupetty Lake & Mattupetty Dam, Munnar Boating, Munnar Tea gardens, Munnar Tea museum & Tea factory, Blossom Park, Munnar Elephant Ride, Pothamedu View Point, Hydel Park, Photo Shooting Points, Tea Powder Shopping, Punarjani traditional Village (Kathakali & Kalaripayattu performance),Lock Heart Gap (On way towards Thekkady). You can visit inline with time available with you. Overnight stay at Munnar.

After breakfast, check out from then hotel and proceed to Thekkady. Transfer to hotel & relax. Afternoon, proceed for sightseeing –The Periyar wildlife sanctuary is thick evergreen forest, declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. The splendid artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar river adds to the charm of the park. You can do things in Thekkady like – Boat cruises on the Periyar lake, visit cardamom, pepper, tea & coffee plantation. Overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Kumarakom, Transfer to hotel & relax. Afternoon, visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, an ornithologist’s paradise, is a favourite haunt of migratory birds like the Siberian Stork, egret, darter, heron and teal. Other common varities like the woodpecker, skylark, crane, water hen and parrots can also be spotted here. A cruise along the Vembanad Lake is the best way to experience the sanctuary. Overnight stay at Kumarakom.

After breakfast at hotel, get ready to say adios to God's Own Country. You will depart to Cochin Airport for your onward journey with memories of  Your Festigo Journey.
