Itinerary
Arrival & welcome to Darjeeling. Meet & greet with our representative at NJP railway station or Bagdogra airport, pick-up & transfer to Darjeeling. On arrival check in to the hotel. Evening is free for leisure or you can enjoy shopping at Mall road (at your own). Overnight stay in hotel.
Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetans Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden and Japanese Temple. Enjoy the dinner at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast check out from Darjeeling and proceed to Kalimpong. Today you will visit Dr. Graham's House, Deolo hills, Deolo View Point, Mangal Dham, Durpin Dara etc. On arrival check in & rest at hotel. Overnight stay in hotel.
After breakfast start journey for Lolegaon at an altitude of 5,500 ft. On arrival check in to the hotel. After sometimes visit Heritage Forest Canopy Walk - hanging wooden footbridge amidst the huge pines and oaks. At afternoon enjoy from the nearby hilltop of Jhandi Dara is an experience of the lifetime. Overnight stay at hotel.
Early in the morning (4 AM around, by you) enjoy spectacular view of the rising sun over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). After breakfast transfer to Lava (24 Kms/ 1 Hour Drive) & Check in hotel at Lava. It is a small hill village in Eastern Himalaya. After lunch starts for Lava local sightseeing covering Ratnarishi Bihar Buddhist Gumpha, Neora Interpretation Centre, Chhengey waterfalls (Optional). Overnight stay at hotel.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Rishop and check in hotel. Rishop or Rishyap is a small Lepcha Village with picturesque views of snow-capped mountains & enjoy the 360 degree view of Mt. Kanchendzonga, Mt.Kharg, Kokthang, Rathung, Kabroo (North, South, Dome and Fourth), Talung, Pandim, Simvo, Narsingh, Siniolchu If you are lucky and there is no cloud between you and Kanchendzonga then you are in for the most memorable visual of your life! Visit Tiffindanra view point by trek 1 ½ km (optional). At night the big sky seems to come closer. Return to the hotel and settle down for a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to airport/ railway station for your onward journey with memories of Your Festigo Journey.
