Ladakh For Brave Hearts

On arrival at Airport you will be transferred to Hotel/ Houseboat. After freshening up, proceed for Local sightseeing visiting Mughal Gardens of Shalimar Bagh & Nishat Bagh, Jama Masjid. Later you may like to visit Shankracharya Temple if time Permits. Overnight stay at Srinagar.

After Breakfast, start your journey to Ladakh. Enroute you can stop by Sonamarg to capture the mystic landscapes. Later visit Drass memorial, before you finally enter Ladakh region starting with Kargil. Overnight stay at Kargil Hotel.

After Breakfast, check out from the hotel, & proceed to Leh enroute visiting 30ft Long Maitreya Buddha, later visit Lamayuru, Likir & Alchi Monastery, followed by Magnetic Hill & Gurudwara Sri Pathar Sahib & Hall of fame. Enroute also check the confluence of Indus & Zanskar river called Sangam by locals. Overnight stay at Leh.

After Breakfast, move towards Highest Motorable Road of The World, KhardungLa Pass. Have a cup of Tea there, get yourself clicked with the Khardungla Signboard by BRO &  proceed towards Nubra valley visiting Deskit Monastery enroute. Proceed further towards Turtuk, the land of Baltis, which came under India post the war of 1971. Overnight stay at Turtuk.

After Breakfast proceed to Nubra. Check-in at Hotel/Camp, freshen up & later you can have a Double Hump Bactarian Camel ride. Dont forget to click this unique mammal, found in cold Desert. It was once used to carry the trade material on silk route. Overnight stay at Hunder/Nubra Camps/Hotel.

Leave early Morning after Breakfast, towards Spangmik/Pangong via Warila (17428ft), the most secluded pass of the region. We recommend to travel on this route only after first week of July till last of August. Later drive Diskit-Khalser-Agham-Warila-Sakthi-zingral-Changla-Tangste-Lukung to finally reach breathtaking Pangong Lake. (We recommend to travel on this route only after first week of July till last of August We have 2 routes here to opt for either via Shayok or via Warila, for which a call is taken at the ground itself as per live situation.) Overnight stay at Camps.

After Breakfast, get ready for the travel across 220 kms of breathtaking stretch via Chushul, Tsaga la & deserted Loma to finally arrive the destination of the day, Hanle. Enroute you may visit Chushul War Memorial, dedicated to the heroes who lost their lives in battle with China. You will stay at rustic homestay at Hanle tonight.

After breakfast start for another mind boggling stretch, it may be most scenic one of your lifetime. You will pass across tiny lakes & villages of Nyoma, Mahe & Sumdo before arriving at lake side camps of Tsomorriri. Overnight lakeside.

Today you will proceed to Jispa via Tsokar- Moore Plains, Sarchu & baralachala before finally arriving at Jispa. You can pay homage at Karzok Monastery before starting your return Trip. Overnight stay at Jispa.

After early Breakfast, start your journey to Manali via Keylong, (the administrative centre of Lahaul and Spiti district) & snowbedded Rohtang La, before you finally arrive at Manali, the 2nd most visited tourist destination in India, after Goa. Overnight stay at Manali.

Early Morning, depart for Amritsar. This is going to be a long journey, prepare your minds accordingly. If you are planning to board an onward flight, plan to leave early from Manali.  Later you will be dropped at Airport/Railway Station for your onwards journey with memories of Your Festigo Journey.
